Joe has been an entrepreneur and a small business owner, working with small businesses for most of his career. He started working EARLY in life—at just 13, he got his first job in a restaurant. He also spent most of his summers cutting grass and winters shoveling driveways. But soon, he got the cooking bug, and helped run a busy kitchen, all at the tender age of 16! Talk about motivation! At this point, he thought that culinary was his mission. But, as most entrepreneurs know, life is not a linear path—computers, marketing, printing, and publishing became his businesses, and he even briefly worked in corporate roles. Ultimately, cybersecurity seems to have won his heart. He believes strongly in protecting people’s livelihoods and their privacy and is concerned about the threat it poses to our way of life and national security.
